Fletcher’s Garden Centre have run a mini train ride activity for over 25 years, where young families can hop on board and enjoy an approximately five-minute train journey through the garden centre’s Wildlife Centre. Throughout the journey you get to visit some of the animals along the way, including Emu’s, goats and Shetland Ponies, all whilst enjoying beautiful views of the countryside to your left.
Mr. Adams has run and maintained the mini railway for many years, building it up to the fantastic ride it is today. Mr. Adams’ new project was to build a new station for the ride, where families could board the train under shelter, and to give the essence of being at a real train station. To start the project, Mr. Adams contacted our team at TFC Supplies Ltd and made an order for Box Profile Roof Cladding, in addition to a supply of timber posts he already possessed for the project.
He’s built a mini community within the new train station, promoting local businesses who have been involved in the development, such as TFC Supplies Ltd, and showcasing all the fantastic work they’ve done. Mr. Adams’ future plans include revamping the whole perimeter of the railway’s journey, including new picket fences, agricultural fences for the Wildlife Centre and other maintenance work along the way.
Mr. Adams is very familiar with TFC Supplies Ltd’s current location at Moorfields Industrial Estate, as he once owned his own transport business on the estate. Our Moorfield’s site is a mere 10-minute drive away from Fletcher’s Garden Centre, which makes us conveniently placed for the Eccleshall community and local, surrounding business in need of timber, cladding, fencing and other building and timber materials.
Mr. Adams is extremely pleased with the finished result and hopes to do more business with TFC Supplies Ltd as new maintenance projects take place throughout the grounds.
